We’re 7 days away from #OURCon and making history together as #PeopleMakingHistory. This promises to be another conference that leaves you with memories created through OUR Experience.

Whatever you’re ready for, whatever you’ll be thinking of, whatever you’ll be doing on the weekend of the 16th – 19th May 2019, make sure it’s done as a #ProudToastmaster who has taken Ownership and is Unified as well as Responsive to their Toastmasters learnings and journey. It’s OUR weekend to get OUR voice heard and make OUR ticks on ballot papers count.
There will be serious matters that will be attended to during this weekend, but there’ll also be less serious matters that mine emotions out of our hearts and paint authentic and heartfelt smiles on OUR faces during the Night of storytelling. We’ll be tasked to speaking as a team, not singing like a choir, but speaking to be understood as a team during the amazing race. And in the midst of all the activities that remind us of how beautiful life is, we’ll also be crowning our Table Topics, Evaluations and International Speech Champions. How awesome it’ll be to see their names on our Hall Of #OURCon fame. FYI: the next public speaking champion is from District 74.
This promises to be an ultimately beautiful weekend with friends, family, NEW friends and #ProudToastmasters. I’d share Avengers Endgame spoilers but, I’ll be a good Superman and let you in on other spoilers; Siphiwe Moyo will be dancing on the stage, Tats Nkonzo will be on a mission to make us chuckle every other minute and Dr. Musawenkosi Saurombe will encourage us about the endless possibilities fueled by endless hope and determination. Timothy Maurice will brand us right while we think of our next speech and Pathways projects that help us get our brands right and Aletta Rochat, PDG, DTM will push us get out of OUR comfort zones in her keynote delivery.
