A Call for Nominations

Toastmasters International – Where Leaders are Made!

District 74 invites all ELIGIBLE members IN GOOD STANDING to accept the call to serve as District leaders in District 74 from 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2026.

In the words of Dr Ralph Chestnut Smedley, founder of Toastmasters International: “Ours is the only organisation I know dedicated to the individual, we work together to bring out the best in each other, and then we use these skills to help others.”

As we celebrated 100years of Toastmasters International impacting lives in over 150 countries, you have the opportunity to be part of the leadership team to take our District into the next 100years of legacy building. Do you want to be part of continuing the legacy established by Dr Smedley?

Since joining Toastmasters in 2010, I have seen benefits not only in my professional life, but also on my personal development journey which has presented me with a host of opportunities to exercise my communication and leadership skills. The satisfaction of celebrating the success stories of individuals that grow through their participation in the Toastmasters International education program has motivated many to be brave to move from their comfort zone!

Toastmasters International is a learn by doing organisation! I encourage you to raise your hand, to be part of the next district leader team that will continue to embody the legacy of Dr Smedley!
