Note from the Editor

Twice a year, Toastmasters International undertakes the task of requalifying its members. Just as beauty is in the eye of the beholder, membership value is not determined by Toastmasters International, but by us, the members. The reason I renew my investment in Toastmasters is the rich and supportive community that I enjoy. There is a sense of inclusion that offers collaboration, support and like-minded values and I feel a strong bond to other members, especially in my club, Evolving Ladies. We are like the Musketeers and we believe in the ‘one for all’ and ‘all for one’ virtues. By the way, have you renewed your membership yet?

Enhancing synergies and availing opportunities for members to learn from each other in a collaborative environment is what our cover star, Elaine O’Gorman DTM, the Division H Director is strategically doing in her Division. Find out how, in the newsletter.

The articles on subscriptions renewal, Pathways adoption and the Indaba2 provide updates on the developments within Toastmasters and examine the key current topics on the educational and membership landscape.

I warmly thank all the content contributors who have made this edition possible. Each of the articles in this newsletter speaks to our faith in the Toastmasters brand and I am excited to share them with you. Special thanks go to the thousands of members who value Toastmasters enough to renew their membership every time, without fail.

Please keep your eyes on this newsletter because your contributions are vital to the continued success of this publication and they are always welcome. Get in touch with your feedback, captioned pictures and punchy 50-100 words articles on; excellence@toastmasters74.org

When you can’t find joy, create it for others. Please remember, safety first.
