On 1 August 2018, Toastmasters from around the world will be celebrating the life and times of the founder of Toastmasters International, Ralph C. Smedley.

On the day:

• We will be wearing our Toastmasters badges
• Members will tell their Toastmasters story online, with the #ProudToastmasters hashtag (this will include taking videos with Toastmasters and non-Toastmasters together)
• Open house events will be held

The first Toastmasters meeting of every Club in August will be a PR event dedicated to why we are Proud Toastmasters.

We urge you as a non-Toastmaster to get involved, visit a Club in August and see what we have to offer to benefit you and your organisation.

If you don’t have time to attend a Club meeting, one of our members can come to your offices and discuss the value that Toastmasters can most definitely bring.

We are all proud as Toastmasters for the skills we have learnt in the areas of public speaking and leadership have propelled us to greater heights not only within Toastmasters International itself but also in our professional careers.
