District 74 Business Meeting
The District Business Meeting is where you as a club leader or member have a voice in shaping the future of our District. It’s not just a formality; it’s your chance to participate in the decision-making that affects every club. The District Council meets twice a year in September and in April or May.
Here’s why it matters:
-
Your voice counts – Club Presidents and Vice Presidents Education have voting rights to represent their clubs, but all members are welcome to listen, learn, and engage.
-
Influence the direction of the District – Decisions made here impact budgets, events, training, and the support your club receives.
-
Elect District leaders – Be part of selecting the leaders who will guide us in the coming year.
-
Stay informed – Hear reports from District leaders on achievements, challenges, and upcoming plans.
-
Learn from the process – Gain insight into leadership, governance, and how Toastmasters works beyond the club level.
Meeting Documents Notice
All relevant documents will be posted below as they become available. Please ensure you download and review them prior to the meeting.
Documents will be uploaded at least two weeks in advance of the scheduled meeting date.
Important: It is important that your club be in good standing, and you also be a paid member of the club and listed as the President or VPE on the Toastmasters Officer Roles, or you will not be able to vote.
Mark your calendar. Whether you’re a voting delegate or an observer, your participation helps strengthen our District and ensures your club’s voice is heard.
