On Saturday 28 November, the United Toastmasters Club held its 6th ever meeting. The club which is currently comprised of 10 countries but is still growing came up with a unique theme: Champion Speakers, where all the prepared speakers in the meeting were current or previous Toastmasters District Champions from around the world! Our very own 2020 District Champion, Kay Terera was among this talented line-up.

To top it all, this year’s second place winner at the World Championships of Public Speaking, Linda Marie Miller, presented an insightful talk entitled “Speak like it matters”. This groundbreaking meeting shows how online video conferencing has enabled engagement of Toastmasters across borders and how digital meetings have given practical meaning to the word “international” in Toastmasters International.
