In Toastmasters, each level of Leadership is simply a reflection of the previous level, just with a bigger team. The President of the Toastmaster Club is like the conductor who ensures that the Club Exco play in harmony and achieve their objectives. Then we have the Division Directors and the Area Directors levels. The Division Directors are the conductors who lead the Area Directors and the Club Excos to play in harmony and achieve their objectives.

Similarly, the District Director is the conductor who ensures that the Cabinet plays in harmony with all the other Leadership levels to meet the District Mission which is to build new clubs and support all clubs in achieving excellence.

Every single leader in our District, from Club Excos, Area Directors, Division Directors, Co-ordinators and Cabinet have all taken on that role to develop and hone their leadership skills. Although these specific leadership skills may differ from leader to leader, we all have a common goal and that is to serve the members of District 74 in achieving their goals. I am looking forward to being a part of this journey for our leaders and hope to be inspirational and motivational to them. I look forward to celebrating each of their successes during the 2020/2021 Toastmaster year.
