Having begun my journey as the youngest member of my club, Gold Reef Toastmaster, I felt intimidated and when I was proposed with the challenge of taking on a club officer role, I felt like I was really being pushed into the deep end. However, I need not have worried. I think that experience alone made Toastmasters more valuable to me than if I had been a regular club member before. Managing a club is like raising a child, observing their potential and eager to see them excel in life. For this reason and all that I am learning, I will forever be a Toastmaster and I look forward to my success.
