The year is coming to a close and after six months of working together virtually, the Division L Team finally met each other face-to-face for the first time this year. It was a perfect time to regroup, recap and reevaluate our goals and plans for the next half of the year. What better way to do that than through a Team Building Event. The event, held at Riversands on Sunday 6 December, was attended by the Division Director, Lucinda Harman, her mentor Sandra Cooper, Area Directors: Andani Masikhwa, Anke Stow, Linda Nkosi, Ntsako Selaule, and Co-ordinators Bonnie Siyotula, Precious Schulte To Brinke, Sarah Phiri and Tsholofelo Mohale.

The event was nothing short of a good vibe and fun. From what was meant to be a fine for latecomers, ended up being the start of the event by having a dance-off to the live band performance at Riversands Farm Village Sunday Market.  Before we knew it, the whole team joined in!

Thereafter, we went through a series of team building events including zip lining, singing and an exercise whereby each team member took a letter from the word T-E-A-M-W-O-R-K and shared what the letter signified for them, Table Topics style of course! Overally, it was a great experience to connect and have fun under the sun with people that you have worked with over the virtual lines. It has left us inspired to excel for the last half of the Toastmasters year.
