20 BY 30 JUNE
GROW BEYOND.
Three quarters. One goal. A stronger future for our clubs. Join the District 74 campaign supporting clubs with fewer than 15 members to build momentum, strengthen membership and work towards 20 members by 30 June 2027.
Every great journey begins with a decision to grow. For District 74, that journey is captured in one ambitious campaign: 20 BY 30 JUNE – GROW BEYOND!
This special membership growth initiative is designed to support clubs with fewer than 15 members as they strengthen their membership, build sustainability and work towards achieving the Toastmasters membership base of 20 members by 30 June 2027.
We believe that stronger clubs create stronger districts. A thriving club provides members with more opportunities to practise communication and leadership, build meaningful connections, develop confidence and achieve their personal and professional goals.
Three Quarters. One Goal.
The campaign runs across three quarters, with each quarter presenting an opportunity for clubs to grow by at least 30% and build momentum towards the ultimate target of 20 members.
- Quarter 1: 1 October – 31 December 2026 – Build the foundation. Attract new members and establish a consistent growth culture.
- Quarter 2: 1 January – 31 March 2027 – Keep the momentum. Build on the progress made and continue expanding your membership.
- Quarter 3: 1 April – 30 June 2027 – Make the final push. Turn your growth efforts into a stronger, more sustainable club.
Grow and Be Rewarded!
Growth deserves recognition! Clubs that achieve at least 30% net membership growth in a quarter will receive R200 towards stock at the District Store for that quarter.
This is an opportunity to celebrate progress, recognise the efforts of club members and encourage a culture of continuous improvement.
How Will Your Club Grow?
Achieving 20 members requires consistent effort and collective commitment. We encourage every participating club to:
- INVITE – Make guest invitations part of every club meeting.
- FOLLOW UP – Connect with guests within 48 hours of their visit.
- CONVERT – Help interested guests take the next step towards membership.
- RETAIN – Create a welcoming and supportive environment where members feel valued.
- REPEAT – Make membership growth a continuous club activity.
District 74 will support clubs through growth resources, practical tips, weekly campaign challenges, progress updates and recognition of clubs making strides towards their targets.
Your Club. Your Journey. Your Growth.
Whether your club has 5, 8, 10 or 14 members, the journey starts with knowing your current membership position and committing to a growth target.
Every invitation matters. Every guest matters. Every new member makes a difference.
The goal is not simply to reach 20 members. It is to build stronger, more vibrant and sustainable clubs that will continue to thrive beyond June 2027.
Are you ready to grow beyond your current numbers?
