Three years ago I found myself a mentor who has been a Toastmaster for almost two decades.

He is very confident and speaks exceptionally well. The first meeting of mentorship I was encouraged to join Toastmasters. I did not hesitate because I was looking forward to the day I could also speak with confidence like my mentor.

Little did I know that Toastmasters is not just about public speaking. Toastmasters has made a very positive difference in my life. It has boosted my career and business world. I did not foresee myself getting a big promotion at work, or opening 3 small scale businesses. All this happened because Toastmasters made me realize my potential.

I have grown as a leader in my career as well as in Toastmasters. First year of joining I became VPM, Second year VPE and now President elect for July 2019 to June 2020.

I participated in the Evaluations contest and went on to compete in Johannesburg South Africa representing my Area. It was an awesome experience and I got the opportunity to meet Toastmasters from different countries at the O.U.R conference in May. I know I will achieve because of Toastmasters.

In Malawi we are #PeopleMakingHistory as we have a 3rd club after 15 years of a dry spell and home to the Division Director H Elect Omega Mwanza.
