Pathways

“I should  have signed up to be a Pathways ambassador” echoed my mind as I  completed Level 5 of effective coaching for my first path.

Pathways was introduced when I was president of the Transnet Trailblazers Toastmasters club, however, I didn’t grab the opportunity to become a pathways ambassador because I was inundated with work at the time and I didn’t want to “chew more than I can swallow”.

I anticipated the launch of pathways, the thought of it brought “butterflies to my stomach”. When it was launched, I believe I was the first one in my club to enrol and I found the enrolment process easy.

As an Information Technology professional systems excite me (Sssshhhh don’t tell anyone) and getting “my hands dirty” on pathways has brought me fulfilment.

One of the things I do is to mentor and coach people with their public speaking and leadership so when the system suggested the effective coaching path after I had done the assessment, I knew it was a perfect match. I am now on my second path and I am considering taking #OneStepForward and becoming a pathways ambassador.
