Some of the life experiences we have to go through be it in our careers or at home can be very challenging, however, these experiences are necessary as they facilitate for our growth to become stronger, wiser and happy.
I would like to introduce you to the concept of Gratitude or as I like to call it G Bombing.
Drop G Bombs! I first learnt the concept of dropping G bombs from Niyc. A renowned New York based positive psychologist and best selling hay house author for her book 30 Day Guide To Living Your Happiest Life!
A few months ago I was booked as the Master of Ceremony for Niyc Pidgeon’s Unstoppable Success event. Little did I know my interaction with Niyc was soon to be life-changing, we share similar interests in that as determined businesswomen and coaches, I am also passionate about helping people reach their greatest potential.
She taught me that “Gratitude allows us to feel powerful enough to share our experiences to help others heal, expand, grow and most importantly works as a catalyst for our happiness. Gratitude doesn’t have to be saved for the “big” things in life. The habit of being grateful starts with appreciating every good thing in life and recognizing that there is nothing too small for you to be thankful for.
In her body of work she expresses that “When seeking to live your happiest life, gratitude is key to being more conscious and aware of the happiness and joy that’s already present in your life” Practising gratitude helps us see every experience as a lesson and a blessing. What are you grateful for? What has it taught you and blessed you with? G bomb your way to your success and happiness because this is the ultimate language of the giving universe! In this new Toastmasters season, I hope you will look back at all your achievements, big or small and practice gratitude to motivate your next huge #onestepforward!
With Gratitude
