The membership drive is truly under way……
The inaugural District Open House meeting took place on the 21st of November 2020. Over 50 potential members logged into the virtual meeting. There was a lot of positive vibes and energy from all the role players which captivated the potential guests. The second meeting took place on the 12th of December and again over 50 potential members attended the effervescent meeting.
The feedback from potential guests was very positive and a significant number expressed their willingness to join Toastmasters. Efforts are underway to link them with relevant clubs.
What emerged is that Toastmasters is the most closely guarded secret and concerted efforts are needed from every member to market this powerful brand that is life changing. Imagine if each Toastmaster reaches out and assists 1 member to join, our membership will double within a few months.
There are more Open House meetings that will run each month from January 2021 to June 2021. The next one is on 23 January 2021.
