Will you pay it forward?
Mentorship has been a pain point in our District for a series of years and I am delighted that we were able to take a bold move towards it this year.
The Mentorship without Borders (MwB) launch event on the 5th of October reminded me of the power of a community. I was developed to be the better leader and speaker I am because of this community’s mentorship and I feel the strong desire to pay it forward so that another person can experience it.
So what is next?
Each of the registered delegates will, by Saturday 17 October, receive confirmation of registration into this mentorship programme and also be added to a team. The first capacity building session of the Mentorship without Borders will then take place on Monday 19 October 2020 and practical activities commence henceforth.
Delegates in the programme can expect to take away skills in;
- Interpersonal communication
- Critical & Creative thinking
- And Problem Solving among other benefits.
