Having made the lone trek to South Africa many months ago, I was keen to meet new people. And because speaking was my thing, I trolled the web to explore my options on finding an appropriate club. I found some options and sent out several emails of enquiry. Carpe Diem Breakfast Club, in Johannesburg, South Africa were the most responsive and the next day I attended a Thursday breakfast meeting. What I hadn’t bargained for, was an incredible group of individuals that would make me feel like family. Today I have friends, family and mentors all in one breakfast club… Hello Toastmasters!
