Recently, the 2020 Virtual Convention, brought together all Toastmasters from the four corners of the world. I loved watching the World Championships of Public Speaking, visiting the marketplace virtual booths and networking. I am sure you, like me, spent many hours watching the event and clicking from booths to walls. And perhaps you, like me, have also clicked on the recordings just to catch up on some missed events. Yes? Bravo! But I digress.

The point is, Toastmasters is a whole world on its own. There is always continuous learning and discovering ways of being great speakers and leaders. I am sure we all had an opportunity to tap into the personal leadership and speaking styles of all those phenomenal men and women.

And in this latest edition, drum roll please, my interview is with this edition’s cover star Mimi Makupula, the very energetic cycling enthusiast and Division E Director. She shares this energy with her team, to get every member there.

Also featured is a reminder to pay our dues and the charter of the new kid on the block, the Good to Great Toastmasters Club.
