Launching and chartering a new club is quite an insurmountable task, especially when launching the club online. Division A has, somewhat, mastered the art of launching new clubs online. In a space of 8 months, the Division has chartered 3 brand new clubs. The latest club charted being the Accelerators Toastmasters Club, chartered in March 2021. What makes this club’s charter special is how its charter was accelerated. The Division Director, Vusi Maupa, and Area A3 Director, Bhekisisa Ngomane, converted 20 new members within a week to charter the club. This is a towering testament of the Division’s motto; accelerated progress.

Accelerators Toastmasters Club was launched after the Division’s record-breaking open house event, guested by Professor Mamokgethi Phakeng, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cape Town. It is, therefore, no surprise that some of the charter members of the club are professors, doctors (PhD), masters graduates and graduates from various academic fields.
