The theme for the second Division O Club Officer Training (COTii) was centered around ‘How to turn Obstacles into Opportunities’, a follow up to the COTi theme which was about adopting to change in the pandemic era. The second ever COT for the division took place online on the 13th February 2021.
With over 100 participants from across the district logged in and a lineup of experienced TLI accredited facilitators from across District 74 ready to serve, it was all systems go. Going into the club officer training, the brief was clear, WE ARE SOLUTION BASED. Facilitators did not just inform but went a step further to engage the trainees on the actual challenges faced and as a group, worked to find the best solution that would ensure that we all finish strong. Positive feedback was given to both the facilitators and the trainees.
Special appreciation must go to the amazing facilitators; Frank Tsuro DTM, Karen Levy Strauss DTM, Granny Be DTM, Gaoratelelwe Molebalwa DTM, Tebogo Ramaahlo DTM and Kage Kgobero. Together they ensured that officers are well equipped to turn their obstacles into opportunities on their way to the Hall of Fame.
