The 9th May 2020 is going to go down in history as the Southern African Toastmasters take #onestepforward and once again show that we are #peoplemakinghistory.
For the very first time ever we will host, DISTRICT 74 COUNCIL meeting online, and then the DISTRICT 74 INTERNATIONAL PREPARED SPEAKING CONTEST online.
The hosting of the Council meeting online is a huge opportunity, it gives more members the opportunity to attend the meeting, to hear the plans for the future and to elect our new leaders.
At the beginning of the Council meeting, we will have a Keynote Address from one of the World Champions of Public Speaking, Mohammed Qahtani.
Later in the day, we will have our own District Championships and we will have 10 contestants from possibly from across 9 countries.
