My name is Carla Zimba. My home club is Kula Toastmasters in Maputo, Mozambique. I am doing Dynamic Leadership Level 3 Project 2. I have had the privilege to visit Maputo Toastmasters, Vodacom Toastmasters and Timbila Toastmasters all in Mozambique. Apart from these, I have had the opportunity to visit Benoni and Mbambane Toastmasters in Swaziland, Executive Toastmasters in South Africa and Umoja Toastmasters in Uganda as well.

Overall, I have seen the passion, energy and great commitment from these clubs. I have learnt from the clubs that one should not sit back and have great expectations from any club. Rather make your expectations a reality by actively participating.

My experience has been very good because the members were very welcoming and made me confident to participate in various areas like Table topics and even deliver a speech! I always feel as warm and comfortable as I do in my club.
