“Nothing ever becomes real until it is experienced,”  – this has been my mantra in my career & personal growth journey.  It’s about being vulnerable to new situations and allowing mistakes to teach me along the way.  I joined Lusaka Executive Toastmasters in Zambia at the end of February 2020 and when Coronavirus hit the globe, my dreams were shattered. However, Covid-19 proved to be a blessing in disguise in the form of virtual meetings. I have been travelling around the world non-stop and speaking in great Toastmasters’ clubs. I completed my first Pathway in 8 months and am still going.  The secret, I discovered, is to visit as many clubs as you can, be disciplined, learn from others, practice roles and speak!  The rest will come naturally!
