Letter from the Editor

My Toastmasters journey has been an extremely exhilarating time, as I continuously learn and meet such inspiring leaders. Today, I invite you to feast your eyes and warm your souls as you read about my interview with one such leader, the Division A Director, Vusi Maupa.  With his desire to change the African leadership landscape came the discovery of the ‘what’ and the ‘how’ to make it happen. He became a leader, a champion of acceleration.

The PR for Success article kicks us off by highlighting why keeping a consistent brand is the cornerstone of trust. In our New Member Moments we get to meet some talented and driven young leaders on their way up. The tried and tested importance of story telling is drilled in during Mentor/Mentee interactions. When Emissaries visit other clubs, it’s a no brainer that value addition happens as we tap from each other. From the different Social Events that happened across the district, we get an insight on the Rotary/Toastmasters interconnectedness and how our geographical reach as leaders continues to grow by meeting and training virtually, even though we are challenged on all fronts in our continued strive for progress.

I invite you to participate with us by building the Toastmasters brand alongside the Achieving Excellence team.

So, please share your high resolution pictures and short and punchy 100 word content on any of the highlighted pillars. Ideas and tips are always welcome. Please e-mail to; excellence@toastmasters74.org

Stay home. Stay safe.
