From 1 July 2021, Mauritius will be part of the District 74 family.
A few years ago, the District 74 Council voted on including Mauritius into our District. The proposal was sent to Toastmasters International and they gave Mauritius a target number of clubs that they needed to have before this could happen.
That time is here – Mauritius has achieved that goal and will become the 10th country to be part of the District alongside Botswana, eSwatini, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. We congratulate them on achieving this goal and are looking forward to working with them to achieve the District Mission – We build new clubs and support all clubs in achieving excellence.
