For many years, I have always wanted to take up a career in public speaking, but I had no idea what to talk about. While I used to be a model and later, with the demanding lifestyle of a pilot, I put my public speaking career quest on hold until I was invited one day to speak to children about my life as a pilot. Even though it was a small group, my speech was focused on motivating and encouraging them and the children found it fascinating. I knew right away that a career in public speaking would thrive alongside my lifestyle as a pilot. I decided then that my message would consist largely of excerpts from my life to motivate others to spark their pure willpower. I finally joined Tarentaal Toastmasters from Namibia in 2021 and I look forward to improving my leadership and public speaking skills for the betterment of others.
