For the larger part of my life I have been known as timid and shy. As I was growing and aspiring to become an outstanding leader, it became clear that I had to first redefine this narrative. I thought to myself what better way to break out of my shell, speak boldly  and authentically than to join Toastmasters. I recently became a member of the Gaborone Toastmasters Club in Botswana. My journey has been nothing short of exciting. Each session is educational and I find myself growing into the woman I truly aspire to become. I now exude confidence and positivity resulting from the stories shared by other members and from the feedback and support I continuously receive.
