My name is  Desberia Mutara. I am the current Vice President Public Relations for Global Women Extraordinaire Toastmasters Club. I joined Toastmasters early this year, after I had “lost” my voice due to abuse in my marriage, a job loss and after going through the stigma of being “barren”. 

Through Toastmasters I have managed to get out of my cocoon. I now have confidence and I am learning to speak again, without my mind shutting down during a speech. Isn’t that so exciting?! Being me and living my life to the fullest is my greatest achievement.  I am loving it!
