I am DTM Jeeana Appadoo, hailing from ACE Speakers Toastmasters Club in Mauritius. My Toastmasters’ journey started in June 2013 in Dubai, District 105. I am really looking forward to Mauritius joining the District 74 family soon!

I enjoyed watching the 2021 semi-finals of District 74.  Such an opportunity cannot be missed as the African continent is very close to my heart, having visited it innumerable times.  

I was relieved and pleased to see the first contestant redeliver her speech at the very end.  Online contests are challenging for contestants, for role players and also for judges.

The pandemic has blessed us Toastmasters to be in South Africa in the morning, in Brussels during midday and in Toronto in the evening, without any costs, no visa needed, in the comfort of our homes.

Dear Toastmasters, it is a win-win situation to serve the fraternity, to learn, to make friends, to grow and glow.
