I’m Sithu Ngcobo, a new member of Kloof Toastmasters Business Club, in KwaZulu Natal, South Africa. After visiting a number of clubs, I finally made the decision to join Toastmasters. It’s been one of the best decisions I ever made. My job involves a lot of public speaking. Through Toastmasters I’ve become a more confident public speaker, I’m able to engage more confidently with people I have just met and my vocabulary has increased. Toastmasters offers support, and this help comes through one’s mentor. My mentor is Joanne Schmitt. I don’t have to walk this road by myself. That’s why Toastmasters is definitely one of the best things to happen to me.
